About the role

  • Perform professional administrative work of an introductory nature gradually increasing in level of difficulty and responsibility
  • Perform work that is pertinent to field study
  • Review and become familiar with Government Contracts
  • Review and become familiar with Government Requests for Proposals (RFP)
  • Support the preparation of clarifying questions on RFP requirements
  • Support Cost Proposal development
  • Introduction to implementation of price strategy
  • Learn about cost/price modeling and strategic pricing
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be working towards a Bachelor's degree with between 40% and 60% of the required credits completed
  • Preference for Finance, Accounting, Data Analysis, Economics, or related curriculum
  • Must have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher while participating in this internship
  • Excellent writing, communication and listening skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Must be diligent, hardworking, and a fast learner
  • Desires to gain professional experience and is eager to learn
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel
