About the role
- Execute the procurement of materials, equipment and services including price, availability, and delivery schedule.
- Review requests for completeness and clarity, obtain missing information and provide timely response to purchase requests.
- Prepare Request for Quotations (RFQ’s), source selections, and analyze results.
- Negotiate pricing and contractual terms.
- Perform price analyses using a variety of FAR approved techniques.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance issues related to on time delivery and quality.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain electronic purchasing records and data documenting performance and compliance.
Requirements
- 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field;
- 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field;
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.
- Experience working with U.S. government contracts, including FAR/DFAR regulations including CPSR requirements.
- Ability to: Work both in a team and individually.
- Multi-task and work well under pressure.
- Self-motivated and driven desire to succeed with minimal direction.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance. Prior Costpoint experience a plus.
