Design and scale complex Amazon WorkSpaces and AppStream 2.0 environments across AWS Commercial and GovCloud (IL4/IL5/IL6) regions.
Create, maintain, and automate the lifecycle of "Golden Images," ensuring they are fully compliant with DoD STIGs and functional requirements.
Orchestrate the integration of WorkSpaces with Active Directory, MFA/CAC authentication, and AWS Transit Gateways for secure hybrid connectivity.
Optimize protocol settings (WSP/PCoIP) to ensure a high-quality user experience even in low-bandwidth or high-latency mission environments.
Develop automation (Python, PowerShell, or Terraform) to handle provisioning, self-service portals, and cost-optimization (Auto-Stop/Auto-Resume policies).
Serve as the Tier 3/4 point of contact for complex VDI performance issues, conducting root-cause analysis for the most persistent "ghosts in the machine."

Requirements

2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
Knowledge of operations and incident response (Terraforms).
Proficiency in managing AWS Directory Service (Managed Microsoft AD) and VPC networking.
Strong scripting skills (PowerShell or Python) for managing desktop fleets at scale.
Must possess an active US level Secret clearance with the ability to qualify for TS/SCI clearance.
