About the role

  • Manage all disciplines of security to include personnel and physical security, document control, visitor control, security education and training, as well as other duties as directed.
  • Administer the overall HII security program for Pocasset, MA and will provide guidance and support to HII field sites as necessary.
  • Safeguard and account for all COMSEC material as the COMSEC manager.
  • Disseminate, inventory, and destroy COMSEC material as required.
  • Participate and contribute to HII’s effective Security Education and Awareness Training Program.
  • Successfully generate DD254’s.
  • Responsible for the administration and coordination of DOD and other Industrial Security Programs.
  • Conduct various security briefings for personnel in alignment with contractual obligations.
  • Develop and administer security policies and procedures for classified materials.
  • Prepare manuals outlining regulations such as SOPs, SPPs, ITPs, EAPs and OPSEC plans.
  • Conduct security education classes and security audits.
  • Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken.

Requirements

  • 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of 32-CFR, Part 117, ICDs and other DoD compliance requirements.
  • Thorough knowledge of DIAS and control of COMSEC material is required.
  • The DCSA FSO Certification for possessing facilities is required.
  • Full knowledge and understanding of industry practices.
  • Must be able to independently demonstrate the skill and ability to perform complex professional tasks.
  • Candidate must work well in a team environment and possess excellent speaking, written, organizational, customer service, and communication skills.
  • The candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision on multiple tasks and work well under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Candidate must be able to prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments concurrently.
  • Candidate must have proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, NBIS, DISS and NISS.
  • Must possess a current Secret clearance with an in-scope background investigation as well as have an ability to meet Top Secret/SCI eligibility requirements if required.
