About the role
- Coordinate and manage flying and training schedules for units under the 31st Operations Group (31 OG), supporting both fighter and rescue operations
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and long-range schedules using GTIMS or PEX
- Ensure all schedules meet requirements outlined in AFI 11-202V1, AFI 11-2MDSV1, and local training guidance
- Collaborate with Flight Commanders, Stan/Eval, Training, and Maintenance to integrate personnel and aircraft availability
- Track and resolve schedule conflicts related to TDY, upgrade training, evaluations, and aircrew qualifications
- Prepare and distribute approved flight authorizations and daily flying schedules
- Coordinate range use, airspace access, and host-nation approvals with OSS Plans, Range Control, and external agencies
- Monitor airfield conditions, weather, and aircraft status; communicate updates to the Director of Operations (DO) and Supervisor of Flying (SOF)
- Manage schedule deconfliction between flying, simulator, and academic training events
- Maintain data accuracy within scheduling systems and produce readiness and utilization reports
- Ensure crew training, evaluation, and currency are properly reflected in official systems
- Maintain continuity binders, SOPs, and documentation for inspection readiness
- Support exercises, contingency operations, and deployments through adaptive scheduling and coordination
- Coordinate with USAFE-AFAFRICA and higher headquarters to ensure policy and procedural compliance
Requirements
- 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience
- 6+ years of experience in Air Force operations, training, or scheduling
- Proficiency with GTIMS or PEX
- Knowledge of AFI 11-202V1, AFI 11-2MDSV1, and AFI 11-2MDSV3
- Experience coordinating across multiple squadron functions and support elements
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint)
- Must possess and maintain an Active Secret Security Clearance
- Valid U.S. Passport and ability to travel OCONUS as needed
