About the role

  • Manage the overall program, providing strategic direction, planning, and execution to ensure successful delivery of all projects under the IDIQ contract
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships, and ensuring their needs and expectations are met
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation
  • Allocate and manage resources across multiple projects to optimize productivity
  • Identify and assess risks, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans
  • Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure adherence to financial guidelines
  • Implement quality control measures and ensure compliance with contract requirements and regulations
  • Lead and motivate a diverse team of project managers, engineers, analysts, and other professionals
  • Establish performance metrics and KPIs to monitor progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations, reporting requirements, deliverables, and applicable regulations
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives and implement best practices

Requirements

  • 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant progressive experience
  • Proven experience as a Program Manager or in a similar role, preferably within the defense industry or government contracting
  • Strong knowledge of defense industry practices, regulations, and contractual requirements
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-year contracts with greater than $20M annual revenue and overseeing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
  • Sound financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Must posses and maintain a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance
