About the role
- Designing and planning network systems
- Providing specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture
- Providing specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements
- Conducting testing of network systems
- Maintaining technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, switchers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
- Evaluating and reporting on new network technologies to enhance capabilities of the network
Requirements
- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field
- 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field
- 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience
- Must have a current Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification
- Must have had an active Top Secret clearance within the last 24 months
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD TS/SCI and relevant SAP/SAR Clearance
- Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule to support customer requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
