About the role

  • As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex software capabilities for computer-based systems.

Requirements

  • Security Clearance - A current TS/SCI CI Poly level U.S. Government security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries (e.g. Spring, Guava) and a Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
  • Experience in designing enterprise APIs
  • Experience in RESTful web services
  • Experience in Microservices architecture
  • Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigms
  • Experience with the agile software lifecycle
  • Has a proven ability to learn quickly and works well both independently as well as in a team setting
  • Experience with the Linux operating system
  • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Git, Nexus, Maven)
  • Must be able to work on customer site in Fort Meade, MD a minimum of 3 days a week. However, flexibility is essential to adapt to schedule changes as needed.
