About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive forward the mission of empowering people to unlock financial progress by leading the quarterly financial forecast process end-to-end
  • Own the operating budget cycle
  • Lead the monthly ACL reserve calculation
  • Serve as primary financial partner to senior leaders across Credit, Growth, and Operations
  • Translate complex portfolio data into actionable insights that guide executive-level investment decisions
  • Conduct deep-dive variance analyses to identify root causes of over or underperformance and present insights to business leaders
  • Oversee the development of monthly financial review packages that highlight key performance indicators for the CFO and Board
  • Manage complex, driver-based financial models to forecast business performance under various scenarios
  • Provide ROI and payback analysis on new business initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis and modeling within the financial services or fintech industry
  • Proven track record of building rigorous analytics or financial infrastructure from the ground up
  • Experience modeling GAAP financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow)
  • Ability to use data as an investigative tool to analyze performance variances and drive efficiencies
  • Strong project management skills with experience executing complex financial projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build cross-functional relationships and influence outcomes effectively
  • Ability to travel for high-impact in-person collaboration a few times a year (typically 4–6 trips annually)
