Key responsibilities & impact

Drive forward the mission of empowering people to unlock financial progress by leading the quarterly financial forecast process end-to-end
Own the operating budget cycle
Lead the monthly ACL reserve calculation
Serve as primary financial partner to senior leaders across Credit, Growth, and Operations
Translate complex portfolio data into actionable insights that guide executive-level investment decisions
Conduct deep-dive variance analyses to identify root causes of over or underperformance and present insights to business leaders
Oversee the development of monthly financial review packages that highlight key performance indicators for the CFO and Board
Manage complex, driver-based financial models to forecast business performance under various scenarios
Provide ROI and payback analysis on new business initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field
5+ years of experience in financial analysis and modeling within the financial services or fintech industry
Proven track record of building rigorous analytics or financial infrastructure from the ground up
Experience modeling GAAP financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow)
Ability to use data as an investigative tool to analyze performance variances and drive efficiencies
Strong project management skills with experience executing complex financial projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build cross-functional relationships and influence outcomes effectively
Ability to travel for high-impact in-person collaboration a few times a year (typically 4–6 trips annually)
