💰 $130,000 - $160,000 per year
About the role
- Reinvent the vendor lifecycle and create processes, templates, and a right-sized agile contract/vendor management framework
- Act as a trusted advisor to business partners, define needs, navigate the contracting process, and lead RFPs for high-investment vendors
- Proactively review vendor portfolio to identify cost savings and consolidate redundant services; ensure documented rationale for vendor selection
- Lead negotiations and influence stakeholders to resolve complex situations
- Partner closely with legal and second-line risk teams to align processes with the established risk framework
- Be both the architect and operator: define process and execute day-to-day work as a department of one
- Report to the Head of Cross-functional Planning and Strategic Relationships and serve as the connective tissue between business units, legal, and risk
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in a strategic sourcing, vendor management, or similar role
- Direct experience with managing contracts and vendor lifecycles
- Demonstrated ability to identify and drive cost savings and process efficiencies
- Negotiation skills
- Experience with contract processes is essential
