About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Install, configure, and maintain Mitel Unify OpenScape VoIP platforms at Government facilities worldwide.
  • Configure users, devices, licensing, server hardware, operating system images, and system updates.
  • Configure network infrastructure including IP addressing, VLANs, domains, and related network services.
  • Configure and troubleshoot SIP trunking utilizing Cisco CUBE, Cisco Dial Peers, and related VoIP technologies.
  • Implement system security hardening in accordance with DoD cybersecurity requirements, including STIGs, FIPS, and other security controls.
  • Integrate the Mitel Unify Xpert application with Government-provided Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support Government radio platforms including PRC-117G, Motorola APX7500/APX8500, and Motorola CM300/CM350 series radios.
  • Administer virtualization environments utilizing VMware vSphere/ESXi and Red Hat KVM.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems including SUSE, Debian, and Ubuntu.
  • Travel worldwide to support customer installations, upgrades, maintenance, and technical support activities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Experience deploying and supporting SIP-based Unified Communications and VoIP platforms.
  • Experience with Mitel Unify/OpenScape Voice and/or Cisco VoIP technologies.
  • Experience integrating Unified Communications systems with Government Land Mobile Radio (LMR) platforms.
  • Working knowledge of PRC-117G, Motorola APX7500/APX8500, and Motorola CM300/CM350 radios.
  • Experience administering Linux operating systems including SUSE, Debian, and Ubuntu.
  • Experience administering VMware vSphere/ESXi and Red Hat KVM virtualization environments.
  • Strong understanding of IP networking, VLANs, DNS, routing, and switching concepts.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25%, with occasional travel up to 35%, including international Government facilities.
