About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Install, configure, and maintain Mitel Unify OpenScape VoIP platforms at Government facilities worldwide.
Configure users, devices, licensing, server hardware, operating system images, and system updates.
Configure network infrastructure including IP addressing, VLANs, domains, and related network services.
Configure and troubleshoot SIP trunking utilizing Cisco CUBE, Cisco Dial Peers, and related VoIP technologies.
Implement system security hardening in accordance with DoD cybersecurity requirements, including STIGs, FIPS, and other security controls.
Integrate the Mitel Unify Xpert application with Government-provided Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems.
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support Government radio platforms including PRC-117G, Motorola APX7500/APX8500, and Motorola CM300/CM350 series radios.
Administer virtualization environments utilizing VMware vSphere/ESXi and Red Hat KVM.
Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems including SUSE, Debian, and Ubuntu.
Travel worldwide to support customer installations, upgrades, maintenance, and technical support activities.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active Secret Security Clearance
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver's License
Experience deploying and supporting SIP-based Unified Communications and VoIP platforms.
Experience with Mitel Unify/OpenScape Voice and/or Cisco VoIP technologies.
Experience integrating Unified Communications systems with Government Land Mobile Radio (LMR) platforms.
Working knowledge of PRC-117G, Motorola APX7500/APX8500, and Motorola CM300/CM350 radios.
Experience administering Linux operating systems including SUSE, Debian, and Ubuntu.
Experience administering VMware vSphere/ESXi and Red Hat KVM virtualization environments.
Strong understanding of IP networking, VLANs, DNS, routing, and switching concepts.
Ability to travel approximately 25%, with occasional travel up to 35%, including international Government facilities.
