About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work closely with product management and commercial teams to execute Mission Bio's global go-to-market strategy with a regional focus in Europe, including channel, positioning and messaging, promotion, and other programs to achieve business objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regional logistics, including planning and coordinating local conferences, seminars, and field events across multiple European markets.
  • Plan and execute marketing activities, and maintain detailed understanding of customer needs, competitive situation and technology developments.
  • Help establish and maintain successful relationships with key European customers and partners to ensure successful early adoption of new products.
  • Support the field organization to ensure accomplishment of the revenue plan and deep technical understanding of the technology and relevant applications.
  • Interact with varying levels of internal and external personnel including direct customer communication, public presentation, and a team-focused approach.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders based globally, requiring flexibility to attend meetings outside typical regional working hours to accommodate time zone overlap.
  • Plan, organize, and support field events and tradeshows as needed, managing multiple moving logistical pieces simultaneously.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Advanced degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) in Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related scientific discipline is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in marketing, market development, in life sciences or related industries, with a preference for backgrounds in single-cell genomics and next-generation sequencing.
  • Proven track record of marketing products successfully to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
  • Deep understanding of core marketing principles, including the 4Ps, segmentation, messaging, value propositions, channels-to-market, content strategy, marketing communication mix, and mapping customer journeys.
  • Experience building integrated marketing campaigns and designing comprehensive marketing plans aligned with industry standard practices.
  • Strong business acumen coupled with an excellent customer focus and extensive customer-facing experience.
  • Outstanding organizational capability with a demonstrated history of managing intricate event logistics and multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, project management, and time management skills.
  • Highly collaborative mindset with a proven ability to unite cross-functional, global teams across different cultural contexts and time zones.
