Procurement

• Develop, curate and execute category strategies to align with company goals, optimizing product offerings across assigned categories.
• Own the category P&L and negotiate to hit revenue, profit, SKU productivity, quality, and food waste saving goals
• Support vendor relationships, focusing on driving competitive pricing, product quality, and timely delivery. Assist in negotiations and process improvements.
• Conduct research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and consumer preferences, providing actionable insights to guide category decisions.
• Work with Inventory Planning, Operations, Logistics, Marketing, Product Development, and IT to execute category strategies and ensure alignment across teams.
• Support sustainability initiatives within the category, focusing on reducing food waste and identifying areas for improvement.
• Assist in key projects related to category growth and process improvements, ensuring effective execution with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with product development teams to identify new product opportunities based on customer demands and market trends.
• Report directly to the Sr. Director of Category Management, supporting the execution of strategic goals and key initiatives.

Category Manager – Meat & Sea Food

Data Analyst

• Own experimentation analytics. Design, monitor and interpret A/B and multivariate tests across Product and Marketing
• Partner with Product Managers and Marketing leads to prioritize experiments using frameworks like ICE or PIE
• Translate experimental results into business recommendations
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure consistent event tracking and instrumentation design
• Develop internal experimentation frameworks. Build dbt models and dashboards that automate experiment tracking, power statistical analyses, and improve interpretability.
• Mentor analysts: guide the team in best practices for causal inference, power analysis, metric selection, and communicating uncertainty.
• Improve data infrastructure: maintain and improve dbt models, metrics definitions, and self-serve data assets.
• Develop descriptive reporting dashboards across Product, Merchandising, and other teams
• Dive into complex SQL and break down problems
• Identify areas of opportunity to move from descriptive to predictive analytics, and ad-hoc to self-serve reporting
• Maintain analytics roadmap to prioritize initiatives, communicate timelines, and ensure successful, timely completion of deliverables

Senior Data Analyst, Experimentation

Manager

• Responsible for managing future forecasts, current inventory levels, order placement, and analytics.
• Key OKRs include WOS targets, shrink, shorts and in stock rate.
• Includes future forecasting- using key inputs including historical trends, pricing, promotional activity as well as inventory and seeding
• Work cross functionally with Category Management, Strategy Planning as well as Operations (inclusive of logistics); will also have the opportunity to work with the MM Product team to help set the needs for the Merch team that allows process improvement
• Work closely with vendors on Purchase Order management and key metrics including on time delivery and fill rate
• Individual Contributor however will need to be able to form strong cross functional relationships that will require this role to set direction for key partners. Their ability to work well with others, communicate effectively, and leverage cross-functional knowledge is crucial for driving projects, initiatives, and outcomes
