About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and produce financial and operational analyses to support management in interpreting financial information and making strategic decisions
- Analyze profitability by project, client, and team, and produce cost and margin analyses to support pricing decisions
- Design, produce, and maintain the organization's KPIs and dashboards, ensuring data reliability and consistency
- Administer financial systems, deploy new technology tools, and lead improvement and automation projects, including initiatives using artificial intelligence
- Support the monthly close and variance analysis to assist with month-end financial statements
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to the regular updating of financial projections
- Collaborate in overseeing contracts, legal compliance, and the supervision and mentoring of the finance team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hold a CPA designation and have 5–7 years of relevant experience
- Proven mastery of the full accounting cycle
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex data into clear recommendations
- Detail-oriented, rigorous, and able to work independently
- Proficiency with technology tools, notably Zoho Analytics, Power BI, and LLMs
- Interest in applying AI to finance (asset)
- Demonstrated leadership, ability to supervise a team, and to act as interim head of finance
- Experience in a services company or in the technology sector (asset)
