About the role

  • The Front End Engineer will work between our Mirantis Secure Registry team which develops our registry product, and our Sustaining Engineering team which provides world-class support for the Mirantis Cloud Native Platform.
  • Develop UI workflows from functional specifications.
  • Design and develop software against requirements in React.js and Angular.
  • Identify and fix bugs that are found within code.
  • Ensure adequate test cases are written to verify design requirements.
  • Document coding and bug fixes.

Requirements

  • Liaise with other developers - thus good written and spoken English skills are required
  • Develop UI workflows from functional specifications in conjunction with the Engineering and Product Managers
  • Design and develop software against requirements in React.js and Angular
  • Be proficient in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Possess understanding and knowledge of React.js, Angular, and their core principles
  • Have experience with popular React.js and Angular workflows
  • Identify and fix bugs that are found within code.
  • Ensure you've written adequate test cases to verify design requirements are being met.
  • Document coding and bug fixes.
  • Will be a plus: Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
  • User-level experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and/or Registries
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, or Mercurial
  • Experience with cloud providers: OpenStack based, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure
