About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, prospect, and onboard new clients in the USA requiring staffing and recruitment services (IT and non-IT domains).
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication, account management, and strategic planning.
- Understand client hiring needs, workforce structures, and business challenges to propose tailored recruitment solutions.
- Collaborate with the recruitment delivery team to ensure timely and high-quality fulfillment of client requirements.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, industries, and potential business opportunities in the USA.
- Negotiate terms of business, prepare proposals, and close client agreements.
- Maintain CRM records and track all business development activities, pipelines, and client interactions.
- Represent the company professionally in virtual meetings, presentations, and networking events.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience (5+ years) in business development or client acquisition within the recruitment or staffing industry, focusing on the USA market.
- Strong understanding of both IT and non-IT recruitment processes, including permanent, contract, and remote staffing models.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with clients at all organizational levels.
- Experience working in a night shift or US time zone is essential.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently in a remote setup.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and virtual collaboration platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Slack).
