What you’ll need
  • Track record of shipping products, internal tools, open-source projects, or serious side projects to real users
  • Strong fundamentals and ability to learn quickly
  • Product and customer-value orientation
  • Ability to reason about blast radius, trust boundaries, and security-sensitive infrastructure
  • Ability to read unfamiliar code, reason from first principles, and explain tradeoffs
  • Comfortable across TypeScript, Python, and CockroachDB, or able to quickly learn new languages, protocols, and domains
  • Excited to build with agents and identify when they help or hide problems
  • Already builds with AI every day
  • Developer-facing products, protocol or gateway work, or infrastructure at scale (nice to have)
  • Background in security, identity, or permission systems (nice to have)
