About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct deliverability tests for new clients to determine exactly where their emails are landing
  • Determine each client's promotional threshold, the combination of factors that causes their emails to land in Gmail's Promotions tab
  • Configure and deploy the client-specific solution in Klaviyo, then test and iterate until deliverability results are where they need to be
  • Run client campaigns as A/B tests and monitor win rates across accounts to confirm the solution is performing on every send
  • Experiment with new and innovative approaches within the company's unique mechanism when the standard playbook isn't enough for a particular client
  • Create clear reports of deliverability test and A/B test results and deliver them to the customer success team
  • Flag anomalies and deliverability issues early, and communicate progress with the team over Slack
  • Speak with clients when needed to provide professional, well-communicated support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1-3 years of experience in email marketing, deliverability, or a similar hands-on analytical role
  • Creativity and proven problem-solving instincts. You've diagnosed issues, tested fixes, and iterated until they worked, and when a setup doesn't respond to the usual approach, you enjoy figuring out what will
  • A thoughtful and methodical working style. This role rewards people who run clean tests and trust the data over gut feel
  • Ability to work under pressure and keep quality high when multiple client tests are running at once
  • Flexibility when it counts. Client tests don't always respect the clock, so someone happy to stretch a day or check in on a weekend when needed will thrive here
  • Good communication skills, so reports land clearly with the internal team and clients get professional support when you're pulled into a conversation. A plus, not a dealbreaker
  • Familiarity with Klaviyo, Gmail, Notion, Slack, or any CRM is a bonus
  • A fast, reliable laptop and strong internet connection (non-negotiable for this role)
  • Willingness to complete a brief skills assessment as part of the hiring process
