About the role

  • Own monthly close and reconciliations in NetSuite or QuickBooks to maintain accurate, compliant books
  • Build BI dashboards for real-time sales, gross margin, distributor performance, and working capital to inform daily decisions
  • Analyze SKU, channel, and customer profitability to guide pricing, promotions, and mix
  • Lead vendor and distributor negotiations to improve COGS, payment terms, and trade spend efficiency
  • Establish clear approvals, purchasing discipline, and expense controls to protect margin and cash
  • Run cash forecasting and working capital management across AP, AR, and inventory to support growth
  • Develop budgets and rolling forecasts, including scenario modeling for fundraising and planning
  • Prepare board and investor reporting with crisp insights, variance analysis, and action-oriented recommendations
  • Partner with Sales, Ops, and Supply Chain to align demand planning, production, and inventory with margin goals
  • Optimize the finance tech stack and data flows between NetSuite, QuickBooks, and BI dashboards for reliability and speed

Requirements

  • Extensive finance experience at a mid-to-senior level with strong operational and commercial exposure to link numbers to execution
  • Hands-on skill with NetSuite or QuickBooks and BI dashboards to build dependable reporting and insights
  • Proven success negotiating with vendors and distributors to improve margins and cash terms
  • Background in CPG or beverage is a plus to navigate distributor dynamics, trade spend, and inventory realities
  • Fluent English and proactive communication to drive alignment and influence decisions across teams
  • Detail-obsessed and thoughtful yet commercially savvy to balance accuracy, speed, and impact
  • Comfort working 80% independently in a lean, scaling environment with a roll-up-the-sleeves approach
  • Process and controls mindset to install scalable approvals, documentation, and compliance as the business grows
