About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Gather, analyze, and understand functional and non-functional requirements
Plan, create, and execute manual test cases
Perform functional, exploratory, and regression testing
Execute REST and SOAP API tests
Validate integrations between systems
Log, track, and report defects clearly and concisely
Support the development team in analyzing failures and fixes
Perform simple database queries to validate data
Participate in agile ceremonies (dailies, planning, review, retrospective)
Ensure the quality of deliveries according to defined standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with Java
Manual testing
Test case design and execution
Functional, exploratory, and regression testing
API testing: Solid experience testing REST and/or SOAP APIs
Experience with tools such as Postman, Insomnia, and/or Swagger
Databases: Simple queries and operations
Plus: Prior experience in financial institutions and relevant certifications
