About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Gather, analyze, and understand functional and non-functional requirements
- Plan, create, and execute manual test cases
- Perform functional, exploratory, and regression testing
- Execute REST and SOAP API tests
- Validate integrations between systems
- Log, track, and report defects clearly and concisely
- Support the development team in analyzing failures and fixes
- Perform simple database queries to validate data
- Participate in agile ceremonies (dailies, planning, review, retrospective)
- Ensure the quality of deliveries according to defined standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with Java
- Manual testing
- Test case design and execution
- Functional, exploratory, and regression testing
- API testing: Solid experience testing REST and/or SOAP APIs
- Experience with tools such as Postman, Insomnia, and/or Swagger
- Databases: Simple queries and operations
- Plus: Prior experience in financial institutions and relevant certifications
