About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, maintain, and evolve backend applications using Java, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
- Work on the development and maintenance of highly complex corporate systems, especially in critical environments.
- Develop and consume REST APIs for system integration.
- Integrate legacy systems with modern architectures, supporting technology modernization efforts.
- Develop and maintain frontend applications using Angular (2+) and Microfrontend architectures.
- Implement messaging and data streaming solutions using JMS and Kafka.
- Model, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and relational database structures.
- Ensure code quality through application of development best practices, design patterns, and static analysis tools.
- Work with application servers such as WebSphere, JBoss, and WildFly.
- Participate in continuous integration and versioning processes using DevOps tools.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban), contributing to the continuous evolution of products.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, performance optimization, and application modernization.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Senior experience in Full Stack Java development (minimum 7 years).
- Strong experience with Java, EJB, and JPA.
- Experience developing REST APIs.
- Knowledge of Angular (2+) and Microfrontends development.
- Experience integrating legacy systems with modern architectures.
- Experience with messaging using JMS and Kafka.
- Proficient in relational databases, SQL, data modeling, query optimization, and stored procedures.
- Experience with Maven.
- Code versioning using Git (Bitbucket).
- Knowledge of Sonar and Swagger.
- Experience with application servers WebSphere, JBoss, and WildFly.
- Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).
- Use of Jira for task management.
- Spring framework.
- Knowledge of design patterns and software development best practices.
