About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor merchant acquiring operations and payment methods;
  • Monitor financial transactions and identify inconsistencies;
  • Perform operational and financial analyses related to card and electronic payments;
  • Manage relationships with acquirers, sub-acquirers and financial partners;
  • Support financial reconciliation processes;
  • Prepare management reports and performance indicators;
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes;
  • Assist in incident resolution and coordinate with involved areas;
  • Ensure compliance with card brand rules and internal policies;
  • Participate in projects related to the development of payment products and solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Previous experience in the merchant acquiring or payments industry.
  • Knowledge of credit, debit and PIX transactions.
  • Understanding of capture and authorization flow.
  • Knowledge of ISO 8583 protocol and/or transactional communication.
  • Familiarity with POS terminals, TEF and capture solutions.
  • Experience in analyzing and handling operational incidents.
  • Data analysis skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Knowledge of PCI certifications and payment security standards.
  • Knowledge of card brand certifications and release processes.
  • Experience with terminal and capture application certification/homologation.
  • Experience with card brands such as Visa, Mastercard, Elo and American Express.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and log analysis.
  • Basic SQL knowledge for queries.
  • Experience participating in homologation, pilot and rollout projects.
  • Knowledge of the EMV protocol.
  • Experience with integrations between payment applications and commercial automations.
  • Technical English for reading documentation and specifications.
