About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for the data analysis process, including the collection, cleaning and organization of information so that data is made available efficiently and reliably.
Familiarity with data architecture fundamentals.
Primary technologies and languages include Databricks, Python, Java, Scala and SQL; relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB); big data tools (Hadoop, Spark, Hive); cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP); and ETL technologies (Extract, Transform, Load).

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in data analysis, processing and modeling.
Knowledge of data architecture, including storage, integration and data governance concepts.
Experience developing and manipulating data using:
SQL (advanced)
Python
Databricks
Java
Scala
Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases:
MySQL
PostgreSQL
MongoDB
Other equivalent databases
Experience with Big Data tools and ecosystems:
Apache Spark
Hadoop
Hive
Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
Experience creating data ingestion, transformation and delivery pipelines.
Knowledge of dimensional and relational modeling.
Experience with cloud computing:
Microsoft Azure
AWS
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Knowledge of best practices for data quality, security and governance.
Ability to identify issues, perform analyses and propose data-driven solutions.
