About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as Senior SAP PMO responsible for governance of high-complexity SAP projects, ensuring application of project management methodologies and control of the SAP portfolio.
Monitor implementations, rollouts, upgrades and migrations from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring management of scope, schedule, costs, quality and risks.
Work directly with Project Managers, SAP Operations Managers, functional and technical teams, and client stakeholders.
Support the development and upskilling of the PMO team.
Ensure governance and application of management methodologies in SAP projects.
Manage and consolidate information for portfolios composed of multiple SAP projects.
Monitor indicators for schedule, scope, costs, quality, risks and dependencies.
Consolidate timelines and conduct executive tracking of projects.
Prepare and present executive reports for internal use and for clients.
Coordinate alignment between functional, technical and business teams.
Support Project Managers and SAP Operations Managers in decision-making.
Identify and mitigate risks, deviations and impacts to the portfolio.
Support the training, mentoring and development of mid-level PMO team members.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience as a Senior PMO in SAP projects.
Strong experience in project governance and SAP portfolio management.
Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies.
Experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA projects.
Experience in implementations, rollouts, upgrades and SAP migrations.
Extensive experience creating and managing complex schedules.
Knowledge of the dynamics of functional, technical and business teams in SAP projects.
Experience preparing executive status reports for clients and internal management.
Ability to manage risks, costs, scope, quality and deadlines.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management across different organizational levels.
Project management certifications (PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2 or similar).
Knowledge of agile and hybrid methodologies.
Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps or similar.
Knowledge of SAP processes in FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, HCM modules and related areas.
Experience managing a corporate PMO or SAP project office.
Experience in global environments and multinational projects.
Knowledge of project financial management and performance indicators.
