About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administration and support of Windows Server environments (2016, 2019 and 2022).
- Management of Microsoft infrastructure: Active Directory (AD DS), Group Policy (GPO), DNS and DHCP.
- Monitoring and sustaining critical environments 24x7.
- Troubleshooting Windows services, Event Viewer and log analysis.
- Diagnosis and resolution of performance issues (CPU, memory and disk).
- User administration, permissions and security policies management.
- Patch and update management using WSUS, SCCM or similar tools.
- Automation of administrative routines using PowerShell.
- Integration with corporate monitoring, backup and antivirus tools.
- Handling critical incidents and participation in war rooms.
- Support for virtualized and cloud environments, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation and operational procedures.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5 years’ experience administering Windows Server environments.
- Solid experience with Active Directory, GPO and replication.
- Advanced knowledge of authentication troubleshooting (Kerberos and NTLM).
- Proficiency in PowerShell for automation and administration.
- Knowledge of Microsoft security, hardening and patch management.
- Experience with monitoring tools.
- Experience in virtualized environments (VMware and/or Hyper-V).
- Networking knowledge (DNS, TCP/IP).
- Experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Microsoft certifications (AZ-104, MCSA, MCSE) are a plus.
- Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID is a plus.
- Knowledge of automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is a plus.
