About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Full administration of Oracle Exadata environments
Management of Oracle databases (12c, 19c or higher)
Query optimization and advanced performance tuning
Administration of components: RAC (Real Application Clusters) - ASM (Automatic Storage Management) - Data Guard (physical and logical)
Proactive monitoring and high-complexity troubleshooting
Planning and execution of: Backups (RMAN) - Recoveries (disaster recovery) - Patching and upgrades
Analysis of AWR, ASH, ADDM and performance reports
Handling critical incidents and international bridge calls
Automation of operational routines
Ensuring high availability and data integrity
Documentation and standardization of processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree (completed)
Experience with Oracle Database
Proven experience with Oracle Exadata (mandatory)
Strong expertise in: RAC, ASM, Data Guard - RMAN (backup and recovery)
Advanced knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
Experience in tuning: query optimization - indexing - statistics
Knowledge of Exadata infrastructure (storage, compute nodes)
Experience with OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager) tools
Experience in high-criticality environments with large data volumes
Oracle certifications (OCP / OCM) - a plus
Experience with automation (Ansible, scripting)
Knowledge of Oracle Cloud (OCI)
