About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work on a strategic CIB project in Global Transaction Banking (GTB), developing Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) solutions and transactional APIs with a focus on scalability, security, performance, and financial data management.
  • Analyze and develop systems in Java, including microservices, automated testing, middleware applications, and orchestrators.
  • Configure, build, and deploy in development and production environments.
  • Monitor deployments and provide support to solution consumers.
  • Anticipate and resolve issues related to application performance and reliability.
  • Participate in the full development lifecycle: process analysis, requirements gathering, architectural design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Primary language: Java 8 / J2EE
  • Frameworks: Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, PrimeFaces, IceFaces
  • Microservices: Experience designing and developing microservice-based architectures.
  • Integration: SOAP / REST (client and server)
  • Messaging: RabbitMQ, Kafka
  • Databases: Oracle, Redis, MongoDB
  • Data: Python, Data Lake, Databricks
  • Cloud: Experience with cloud services and multi-cloud environments, OpenShift
  • DevSecOps: Maven, Jenkins, Git, GitLab, SonarQube, Fortify, Artifactory
  • Collaboration tools: Jira, Confluence
  • High level of collaboration and interaction across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Analytical skills for creating innovative and disruptive solutions.
