About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Highly skilled Java developer working with modern technologies; strong back-end competencies to build robust, scalable, and efficient applications, as well as to manage and optimize infrastructures.
- Design, code, test, and maintain applications using the Java language, working with user requirements, system architecture, database integration, and troubleshooting, with a focus on ensuring performance, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Full Stack developer (skills in both back-end and front-end development).
- Proficiency in Java and related technologies (Quarkus, Spring Boot, Maven, EJB, WebLogic) and experience with Node.js, Angular, Bootstrap, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Databases: MySQL, Oracle, and Hive.
- Practical experience with DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF), Extreme Programming (XP), Lean Manufacturing).
- Concepts of distributed computing and microservices.
- Container orchestration (Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, Rancher).
- Kubernetes clusters and their features.
- Docker containers.
- Continuous delivery processes and tools: CI/CD with Jenkins and Argo.
- Public cloud platforms: IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS.
- Building cloud environment monitoring mechanisms using Prometheus and Grafana.
- Experience in REST API development and integration.
- Codebase and build management and version control with Git and GitLab.
