About the role

  • Define the test approach, estimating time and effort, and establishing test levels and cycles.
  • Analyze, develop and maintain test scenarios, test scripts, and traceability matrices between features and scripts.
  • Prepare environments for script creation and test execution in development and staging/acceptance environments, according to the type of test.
  • Prepare and/or acquire data required for test execution.
  • Record, analyze and track the root causes of failures identified during testing.
  • Assist in planning, analyzing and monitoring acceptance tests together with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the team in quality control of deliverables, ensuring adherence to defined requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience in planning, designing and executing software tests.
  • Knowledge of creating test scenarios and test scripts.
  • Experience with defect tracking and failure analysis.
  • Experience testing in development and staging/acceptance environments.
  • Knowledge of traceability between requirements and test cases.
  • Strong analytical skills, organization and communication.
