About the role

  • Analyze and develop system projects.
  • Conduct requirements gathering, elicitation, and analysis.
  • Map processes and perform logical and physical data analysis and modeling to implement systems according to business rules.
  • Analyze the performance of deployed systems and propose improvements when necessary.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and prepare documentation and manuals.
  • Coordinate programming activities and services.
  • Create test scripts using the KDZ tool.
  • Manage and track requests posted on the client's platform.
  • Develop and maintain code in a high-availability platform environment (Mainframe).
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, such as Kanban and Scrum.

Requirements

  • Experience with data modeling using CASE tools (ERwin).
  • Knowledge of algorithms and structured systems analysis.
  • Experience with Mainframe programming languages, especially COBOL, COBOL CICS, and Natural / NaturalONE.
  • Knowledge of DB2, SQL, and VSAM.
  • Experience developing and executing tests using the KDZ tool.
  • Experience with agile methodologies such as Kanban and Scrum.
  • Proactive profile with initiative, an ownership mindset, and responsibility for assigned tasks.
  • Ability to manage requests, review development code, and ensure high-quality, efficient deliveries.
