About the role

  • Analyze, gather and detail system requirements, understanding business rules and the needs of the user areas.
  • Work on process mapping and on logical and physical data analysis and modeling to support system implementation and evolution.
  • Develop, maintain and evolve systems according to the technical standards and guidelines of the environment.
  • Analyze the performance of systems in production and propose continuous improvements.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, following corrections through to final delivery.
  • Prepare and maintain manuals and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate and support programming services, ensuring quality and deadlines.
  • Create and execute test scripts in KDZ, ensuring the reliability of deliverables.
  • Work with data modeling using CASE tools (e.g., ERWIN).
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies (Kanban and Scrum), collaborating with the team.
  • Manage requests on the client's platform, monitoring development code in a mainframe environment.
  • Work with autonomy, proactivity and a strong sense of ownership over delegated tasks.

Requirements

  • Experience in systems analysis and development in a Mainframe environment.
  • Solid knowledge of programming languages:
  • COBOL / COBOL CICS
  • Natural / NaturalONE
  • Experience with DB2, SQL and VSAM databases.
  • Experience with structured systems analysis.
  • Experience in data modeling using CASE tools (e.g., ERWIN).
  • Knowledge of algorithms and programming logic.
  • Experience developing and executing tests in KDZ.
  • Experience with agile methodologies, participating in Kanban and Scrum ceremonies.
  • Proactive, organized profile with strong communication and self-management skills.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ownership over deliverables.
