About the role

  • Ensure the stable and secure operation of Linux environments by providing support, monitoring, and incident resolution, and by contributing to continuous infrastructure improvements.
  • Monitor Linux servers and critical services to ensure high availability.
  • Analyze and resolve low- and medium-complexity incidents.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance routines.
  • Assist with applying system patches and updates.
  • Document procedures and keep records up to date.
  • Collaborate with networking, security, and application teams to troubleshoot issues.
  • Meet defined SLAs for ticket handling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Technical knowledge – Operating Systems: Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat).
  • Basic commands: user management, permissions, processes, logs.
  • Services: SSH, FTP, DNS, NTP, Apache/Nginx.
  • Tools: Monitoring (Zabbix, Nagios); basic automation (Shell scripting).
  • Networking: basic concepts of TCP/IP, firewall, simple routing.
  • Security: basic hardening and best practices.
  • Behavioral competencies: proactivity and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work in a team and good communication skills.
  • Organization and attention to detail.
  • Resilience to handle critical situations.
