About the role

  • Process and control payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor legislation;
  • Monitor and support offboarding, vacation, timekeeping/attendance, eSocial, taxes and other area activities;
  • Assist in meeting SLA targets for service requests;
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for labor audits and inspections;
  • Act as the main point of contact for partner areas such as Legal, Accounting, Finance and HR, clarifying questions and delivering reports as needed;
  • Stay up to date with labor legislation and ensure compliance with regulations and legal obligations;
  • Serve as the focal point for interpreting and applying Collective Agreements and Union Conventions;
  • Complete checklist steps inherent to Personnel Administration processes;
  • Provide consultative support to employees and managers on labor issues, benefits, internal policies and other relevant information;
  • Support management in the development of team members, contributing to professional growth and knowledge sharing;
  • Be organized and efficient in managing processes and activities to ensure tasks are completed on time and in accordance with regulations;
  • Assist with and propose continuous improvements for the department, processes and team;
  • Act strategically and consultatively, ensuring compliance with labor legislation and the smooth operation of the department;

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources or Law. Postgraduate degree or MBA in People Management, Human Resources or Accounting is desirable.
  • Technical knowledge: Advanced MS Office, especially Excel. Keep up to date with labor legislation, eSocial, digital FGTS, DCTFWeb and other ancillary obligations in the area.
  • Experience: High-volume payroll processing experience; experience with labor union relations (reading and interpreting Collective Agreements and Union Conventions). Familiarity with ADP and SAP HR/Finance systems is a plus. Must have worked in companies with more than 1,000 employees.
