About the role

  • Implement and manage tags and categories in Liferay to organize content and improve search and navigation experience.
  • Define taxonomy strategies to ensure consistency in categorizing digital assets.
  • Configure and maintain the categorization panel in Liferay, creating new tags and vocabularies as needed.
  • Integrate tags with workflows and segmentation for content personalization.
  • Ensure internal SEO best practices through the appropriate use of tags.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI and development teams to apply tags in templates, pages, and portlets.
  • Use Liferay APIs (REST/Headless) for automation and integration of tags with other systems.
  • Monitor and optimize the tag structure to avoid redundancies and improve performance.

Requirements

  • Typescript - React - AWS
  • Hexagonal architecture and TDD (a development approach focused on testing)
  • Use of APIs for tag management (REST/Headless).
  • HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of Freemarker and JSP for template customization.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and accessibility as applied to tag structures.
  • Experience with content integration and migration in Liferay environments.
  • Education: completed or in progress in IT-related courses.
