About the role
- Lead and manage the innovation ecosystem, building relationships with innovation hubs, universities, research centers, startups and technology partners;
- Design, structure and manage internal innovation programs, corporate challenges and intrapreneurship initiatives;
- Participate in, coordinate and represent the company in market innovation programs and challenges, nationally and internationally;
- Act as a strategic bridge between Brazil and Spain, ensuring alignment across global innovation initiatives;
- Structure, evaluate and monitor business cases, return metrics and performance indicators (ROI, revenue, margin, productivity);
- Directly lead and develop the innovation team (Junior Innovation Analyst – T1 and SPTECH Intern);
- Work collaboratively with engineering, automation, innovation, commercial and operations teams, ensuring technical feasibility and strategic alignment of solutions;
- Apply innovation methodologies for discovery, validation and scalability of solutions;
- Support strategic decision-making through analyses, reports and executive presentations.
Requirements
- Solid experience in innovation, digital transformation, R&D, technology or related areas;
- Proven experience in:
- - Managing relationships with innovation hubs, startups and universities;
- - Structuring and running open innovation and internal innovation programs;
- - Coordinating or participating in innovation challenges, hackathons, corporate programs or accelerators;
- Experience with industrial environments, automation, engineering or applied technology;
- Track record in building business cases, economic feasibility analysis and monitoring results;
- Experience working in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments, with international interaction (Latam/Spain);
- Experience in team leadership and stakeholder management;
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Control and Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronic, Production or related fields) or a Bachelor's in Technology focused on automation, industry or digital transformation;
- Postgraduate degree or MBA in Innovation, Management, Digital Transformation, Strategy, Technology or Business (desirable);
- Languages: Advanced or fluent Spanish (required); Intermediate or advanced English (desired).
