About the role

  • Strong technical knowledge and skills.
  • Work on both ongoing support and the technical and strategic evolution of clients' container orchestration platforms.
  • Proven experience with Rancher 2.x (Prime), RKE, RKE2 or K3s.
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes, Helm, kubectl, YAML, ingress controllers, storage classes and CNI networking.
  • Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Experience with monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager).
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible or similar).
  • Familiarity with container security, RBAC, Network Policies, Secrets and PodSecurity policies.
  • Experience in hybrid environments (cloud + on-prem) is a strong plus.
  • Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux) and multi-cluster management is desirable.

Requirements

  • Experience with Rancher Fleet, Longhorn or NeuVector.
  • Certifications such as CKA, CKAD and/or Rancher Prime Specialist.
  • Knowledge of managed Kubernetes services such as Azure AKS, AWS EKS or GKE.
  • Experience with cost monitoring, FinOps and cluster optimization.
