About the role
- Develop and maintain VB applications using ASP.NET Web Forms ( .NET Framework 4.0 ).
- Create and integrate APIs using .NET.
- Perform queries, optimizations and data manipulation in Oracle databases using PL/SQL.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, technical analysis, development, testing and deployment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (business, QA, infrastructure and product).
- Ensure code quality and adherence to established standards.
- Assist in identifying and resolving bugs and production incidents.
Requirements
- Strong experience with PL/SQL (Oracle).
- Knowledge of VB.NET and ASP.NET Web Forms (.NET Framework 4.0).
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs with .NET.
- Familiarity with source control (Git).
- Good programming logic and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills.
- Intermediate to advanced Spanish for communication with clients and international teams.
- Nice to have – Experience in the insurance sector (life, auto, health, etc.).
- Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Basic understanding of software architecture and best practices (SOLID, design patterns).
