About the role
- Work on a global project delivering commercial tools across the countries where Banco Santander operates
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive, accessible web applications focused on high usability and performance
- Ensure code quality through practices such as automated testing, code reviews, and continuous integration
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers, promoting best practices and continuous learning
- Actively participate in defining standards, processes, and development best practices
Requirements
- Knowledge of distributed microservices architecture, event-driven architecture, and RESTful APIs
- Experience developing Java microservices with Spring Boot and Apache Kafka
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
- Experience with modern frameworks such as React and Angular
- Understanding of responsive design principles, accessibility, and web performance
- Familiarity with build tools, version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of automated testing (Jest, Cypress, JUnit)
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases
- Familiarity with collaboration tools (Jira and Confluence)
- Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
