About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advise and support customers in the selection of precious metals and high-performance materials for demanding applications.
  • Develop tailor-made material and design solutions for components in close cooperation with international customers.
  • Lead and manage customer projects, coordinating internal interfaces.
  • Responsible for alignment with customers and partners, and for analyzing process conditions and load/stress scenarios.
  • Prepare and evaluate technical specifications and feasibility analyses.
  • Support the sales team as the technical point of contact for customer projects and business development.
  • Actively contribute to the optimization of existing components and systems with respect to durability, efficiency, and quality.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Several years of experience in technical customer consulting and project management for industrial applications.
  • Solid knowledge of precious metals, platinum group metals (PGM), or high-temperature materials.
  • Strong understanding of the interaction between material properties, design, and process performance.
  • Experience working with international customers and projects, strong customer orientation, and excellent communication and consulting skills.
  • Very good command of English and a high willingness to travel internationally.
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style.
