About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Play a key role in advancing our SAP S/4HANA Procure-to-Pay (P2P) landscape, ensuring purchasing and procurement processes remain efficient, stable and future-oriented.
  • Work closely with business units and IT to analyze and optimize end-to-end P2P processes, developing tailored solutions within the SAP MM/PTP environment.
  • Take responsibility for requirements gathering, customization, implementation and integration with adjacent modules such as FI, CO, WM/EWM and SD.
  • Focus on identifying, evaluating and implementing automation, digitization and AI-supported solutions.
  • Assess technological developments for applicability to the procurement environment and translate specific AI use cases into viable business and technical concepts.
  • Implement enhancements such as user exits, BAdIs and functional specifications, and ensure high system and process quality through appropriate testing and quality assurance measures.
  • Contribute to the development of modern e-procurement and SRM solutions such as SAP Ariba and Jaggaer, and support business units in daily operations and project activities.
  • Support global rollouts, manage releases, and handle incident and change processes.
  • Collaborate closely with the Solution Architect and international stakeholders to improve master data quality, standardize processes and further digitize our global P2P landscape.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of experience as a Senior SAP P2P/MM consultant with in-depth expertise in SAP S/4HANA Procure-to-Pay and comprehensive knowledge of customization and integration.
  • Practical experience with technical enhancements (user exits, BAdIs, functional specifications) and optimizing existing SAP system landscapes.
  • Experience with SAP SRM and preferably SAP Ariba or Jaggaer, plus a strong understanding of P2P master data and its governance.
  • International project and rollout experience, with an analytical, structured and solution-oriented working style.
  • Excellent communication skills in a global environment and fluency in spoken and written English.
