Contribute to end-to-end process optimization and develop expertise across SAP PP, MM, PP/DS, and IBP while working on requirements, customization, implementation, and integration.
Identify, evaluate, and implement automation, digitalization, and AI-driven solutions.
Assess emerging technologies for their potential in the manufacturing and production planning domain and translate AI use cases into robust functional and technical concepts.
Implement enhancements such as User Exits, BAdIs, and functional specifications, ensuring high system and process quality through comprehensive testing and quality assurance measures.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of production planning capabilities by supporting business users in both day-to-day operations and global transformation projects.
Support global rollouts, release upgrades, and incident and change management processes in close collaboration with the Solution Architect and international stakeholders.
Play an important role in improving master data quality, driving process standardization, and advancing the digitalization of our global production planning landscape.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent qualification
Several years of experience in consulting, support, or implementation of SAP Production Planning (PP)
Alternatively: motivated ABAP developers willing to develop PP process expertise
Strong hands-on experience in ABAP and ABAP Objects
Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA (hands-on experience preferred)
Experience with integrated planning tools such as SAP IBP, SAP PP-DS, SAP APO, or other vendor tools is an advantage
Strong communication skills in German and English
Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to improvement
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills as well as a structured, independent, and committed working style
