About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support platinum laboratory operations and furnace‑room thermal processing.
  • Strengthen process capability, material traceability, and analytical excellence for high‑value precious‑metal operations.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and customer requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain process controls, inspection strategies, and acceptance criteria.
  • Apply SPC and capability analysis to monitor trends, assess stability, and drive improvements.
  • Lead PFMEA, Control Plans, and quality risk assessments.
  • Provide analytical oversight for platinum lab operations.
  • Partner with Engineering to qualify, validate, and optimize furnace processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate degree (minimum) in a relevant technical field.
  • Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Prior laboratory or laboratory‑operations experience (highly desired).
  • Working knowledge of SPC, CAPA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and root‑cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
  • Proficiency with Lean and Six Sigma practices.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer credential (preferred).
