About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage continuity of ISO 9001 certification and ISO 17025 accreditation.
  • Investigate (and correct) customer issues and complaints relating to quality.
  • Supervise workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure high productivity and high technical integrity.
  • Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and to establish quality and reliability expectations of finished products.
  • Formulate, document and maintain quality control standards, inspection criteria and procedures.
  • Coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
  • Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes.
  • Interact with vendors to ensure quality of all purchased parts.
  • Design, develop and implement quality control training programs and maintain active role on internal continuous improvement teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous quality management experience in manufacturing/industrial, military or energy environment required.
  • ASQ Certification and Lean Six Sigma experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 accreditation required.
  • Quality systems and project management experience required.
  • Strong analytical and statistical analysis skills with the ability to identify trends and drive improvements.
  • Passion for developing people and building high-performing teams.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to quality and service excellence.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future and willing to travel up to 10%.
