About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You support the Head of Plant Engineering and the Head of Asset Management on technical and strategic matters.
As part of your role, you participate in the development and implementation of asset management strategies, analyze plant/equipment performance and derive appropriate improvement measures.
You also support the planning and prioritization of investment, renewal and modernization projects, as well as budget, CapEx and lifecycle planning.
Coordinating and tracking technical improvement projects is part of your responsibilities, as is the development and continuous improvement of standards and guidelines.
By conducting and supporting reliability and availability analyses, you create the basis for sustainable optimizations and increased plant performance.
You prepare technical presentations, management reports and decision documents, and present complex issues in a manner tailored to the audience.
Your responsibilities are rounded off by supporting audits and ensuring sustainable knowledge transfer within the organization.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree (B.Sc.) in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable field
Several years (at least 3 years) of professional and leadership experience in engineering, maintenance, asset management or technical projects
Technical understanding of production and process equipment/plants
Experience in project management and interdisciplinary collaboration
Solid knowledge of Reliability Engineering and Asset Management, in particular FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, Risk-Based Inspection and Reliability-Centered Maintenance
Good experience with SAP and MS Office applications
Strong sense of responsibility and excellent communication skills
