About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You support the Head of Plant Engineering and the Head of Asset Management on technical and strategic matters.
  • As part of your role, you participate in the development and implementation of asset management strategies, analyze plant/equipment performance and derive appropriate improvement measures.
  • You also support the planning and prioritization of investment, renewal and modernization projects, as well as budget, CapEx and lifecycle planning.
  • Coordinating and tracking technical improvement projects is part of your responsibilities, as is the development and continuous improvement of standards and guidelines.
  • By conducting and supporting reliability and availability analyses, you create the basis for sustainable optimizations and increased plant performance.
  • You prepare technical presentations, management reports and decision documents, and present complex issues in a manner tailored to the audience.
  • Your responsibilities are rounded off by supporting audits and ensuring sustainable knowledge transfer within the organization.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree (B.Sc.) in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable field
  • Several years (at least 3 years) of professional and leadership experience in engineering, maintenance, asset management or technical projects
  • Technical understanding of production and process equipment/plants
  • Experience in project management and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Solid knowledge of Reliability Engineering and Asset Management, in particular FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, Risk-Based Inspection and Reliability-Centered Maintenance
  • Good experience with SAP and MS Office applications
  • Strong sense of responsibility and excellent communication skills
