About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support aircraft design using Structural Thermal Analysis to assess thermal impact on aircraft structures
- Perform thermal analysis and assess the effects of temperatures onto the aircraft design under normal operating conditions or systems failure conditions followed by transferring these loads for stress analysis
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4-8 years of experience in Aero industry with Thermal Analysis
- Understanding of Aircraft structure and systems
- Basic knowledge of Mathematical Modelling, FEM, FVM and Simulation techniques
- Strong understanding of Heat Transfer process, Thermodynamics, and material properties
- Experience on Structural Thermal Analysis to assess thermal impact on aircraft structures
- Understanding of temperature mapping, effect, and theories
- Engineering Mechanics of composite/metallic materials.
- Tools: NX11, NX-IDEAS, SIMCENTRE, TMG, PATRAN
