About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You take technical responsibility for our production equipment and ensure high plant availability while complying with all legal requirements and internal standards.
- By systematically analyzing malfunctions, you identify root causes, derive sustainable solutions, and ensure transparent documentation of the results.
- You are also responsible for planning, managing, and implementing optimization projects to increase efficiency, reliability, and performance of the equipment.
- Using defined KPIs, you monitor and evaluate equipment performance, derive improvement measures, and are responsible for defining and maintaining process windows, target parameters, and technical reference values.
- Furthermore, you support the introduction of new equipment and technical changes and ensure their successful transfer into production operations.
- In close cooperation with EHS, Production, and Maintenance, you develop sustainable technical solutions and drive continuous improvement of existing processes.
- You participate in the on-call service to ensure continuous equipment operation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree completed (PhD desirable) in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field.
- More than one year of experience in industrial process or equipment engineering.
- Experience in equipment development, optimization, and process scale-up.
- Strong analytical skills, especially for complex technical problems.
- High level of self-organization, structured working methods, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with internal and external partners.
- Analytical mindset and confident handling of technical data and evaluation methods.
