About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Will be required to participate as project lead or team member on an individual or group basis.
  • Responsible for all employee relations including and not limited to performance reviews, conflict resolution, personnel discussions, hiring, promotion and termination decisions etc.
  • Conduct routine meetings with subordinates and maintain open communication.
  • Understanding of Company Quality Mission and specific laboratory QC/QA protocols and corrective/preventative actions.
  • Manages time and attendance issues for employees on a timely basis.
  • Oversees the safety requirements, safe operation and conduct of the assigned team members.
  • Support and actively participate in Company 7S program, Lean Programs, or similar company programs.
  • Responsible to provide a positive environment and serve as a leader on daily basis to department members.
  • Assures that documented methods are followed at all times.
  • Create training plan and schedule for all personnel in all required methods including required QC/ QA.
  • Will administer training and maintain documentation.
  • Ensures sufficient cross-training to effectively run the department at all times Develop and maintain SPC or similar QC system for monitoring process performance.
  • Lead investigation and follow-up through the closure of all corrective actions and customer complaints.
  • Determines appropriate method. Works with staff, production management, and customer service department to create and/or modify methods.
  • Assures all methods are properly documented according to HPMN QA/QC policies.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • The equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Must be proficient in ERP system such as SAP
  • Possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity, professionalism and leadership ability; exhibit a high level of motivation and initiative with the ability to meet deadlines.
