About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Development and implementation of a comprehensive framework to ensure compliance with relevant global sustainability regulations and reporting standards
Support operational entities in implementing regulatory requirements
Monitor global regulatory developments and assess their impact on the Group
Manage and coordinate sustainability reporting for the Group
Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Heraeus ESG Steering Board)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Law, Business Administration or a comparable field (legal background advantageous)
At least five years of professional experience in an international corporation, management consultancy, auditing firm or legal environment
Experience in ESG regulation and sustainability reporting
Experience independently structuring and leading (sub-)projects
Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail and sound judgment
Ability to quickly grasp complex regulatory matters and communicate them appropriately to different audiences
Strong communication and persuasion skills, intercultural competence and fluent English
