About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop a comprehensive concept for sustainability data management, including data collection, automation, and system architecture
  • Lead the implementation of tools, systems, and KPIs for group-wide sustainability governance (e.g., ESG reporting, Product Carbon Footprint)
  • Build a scalable and transparent data landscape in close collaboration with Controlling, IT, and other corporate functions
  • Support operational units, ensure data quality, and create transparency in progress measurement and reporting
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Heraeus ESG Steering Board)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or a comparable field
  • At least five years of professional experience in an international corporate environment or in management consulting
  • Experience in data management, Controlling, reporting systems, and digitalization (finance background advantageous)
  • Proven experience independently structuring and leading (sub)projects
  • Strong numerical affinity, high systems and digitalization competence, and excellent conceptual skills
  • Ability to quickly grasp, structure, and communicate complex topics clearly
  • Strong communication skills, assertiveness, intercultural competence, and business-fluent English
