Project Lead Innovation
Minor Hotels Europe and AmericasProject Lead Innovation managing technical innovation projects end-to-end for Heraeus. Collaborating with international teams to ensure timely delivery and process improvement in innovation initiatives.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You will lead and manage technical innovation projects end-to-end, ensuring structured execution and data-driven decision-making in accordance with established project management standards
- In close collaboration with cross-functional and international teams, you will ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and aligned with strategic objectives
- You will develop and optimize project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure transparency and efficient allocation of resources
- As part of the Innovation PMO, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, governance, and best practices
- You will drive initiatives in Open Innovation, Knowledge Management, and Data & Digital Transformation, embedding them into day-to-day project work
- Additionally, you will support the implementation of advanced project and knowledge management tools (including AI-based solutions) and provide technical guidance based on your scientific expertise
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree or PhD in a scientific discipline; specialization in glass or ceramics preferred
- Proven experience in technical project management with a structured, analytical, and data-driven approach
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience or interest in PMO structures, process optimization, and digital/data-driven transformation (including AI)
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in English and German, with a proactive, team-oriented mindset and a passion for innovation
